Shuttle Bus Operating Hours
To regulate the tourism order and maximize tourist satisfaction, starting from January 1, 2025, no additional ticket booths or group ticket offices will be set up inside the Hengshan Mountain and Hanging Temple scenic areas. All visitors, including individual travelers and tour groups, must purchase tickets at the Hengshan Tourist Center. Due to the insufficient parking capacity of the original parking lot at the Hanging Temple—less than 300 spaces—to ensure smooth traffic flow, visitors are required to park their vehicles free of charge at the Hengshan Tourist Center and take the shuttle bus uniformly into the Hengshan Mountain and Hanging Temple scenic areas. The shuttle bus fare is RMB 20 per person. (Visitors heading toward the Walking Trail or the Hengshan Sacred Ancestral Hall must purchase Hengshan Mountain attraction tickets before entering the park; purchasing only the shuttle bus ticket does not grant access to these areas.)
The shuttle bus operates as follows:
From the Visitor Center to Hengshan Mountain:
Spring and autumn seasons (March, April, October): 7:30–16:00
Summer (May–September): 7:30–17:00
Winter (January, February, November, December): 8:00–15:30
From the Visitor Center toward the Hanging Temple:
Spring and Autumn Seasons (March, April, October): 7:30–16:30
Summer (May–September): 7:30–17:30
Winter (January, February, November, December): 8:00–16:00
During national statutory holidays and peak tourist seasons, ticket sales and suspension times will be determined based on the actual visitor flow at each attraction.
