Pei Yanyun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Scenic Area Management Center, and Yang Xinru, deputy director, attended the opening ceremony. Pei Yanyun presided over the ceremony.

In his mobilization speech, Yang Xinru pointed out that the Hengshan Mountain 5A creation, as a major task this year, has a glorious mission and a significant responsibility. There is no multiple-choice question in the Hengshan 5A creation, only a must-answer question; we must work together with one heart and one mind, resolutely, and make every effort to overcome difficulties and win. Around this major task, this year will be the scenic area management center's year of style construction, quality improvement, and reform. I hope that everyone will unite their consensus and work together to make the Hengshan Mountain 5A creation a tough battle that must be won and a fortress that must be occupied. With the spirit of seizing the day and striving for excellence, we should build new achievements and create excellent results to open up a new situation for the development of Hengshan Mountain. All employees should work hard on "improving quality, transforming style, shaping image, and creating a Brand," demanding themselves to be versatile and knowledgeable, striving for excellence and innovation, and adhering to "detail, practicality, quality, and emotion" in their work. We should present the best service and our best selves to tourists and dedicate ourselves to the most beautiful Hengshan Mountain cause, forming the cohesion and centripetal force of the Hengshan Mountain Brand, creating Hengshan Mountain's influence, and building a good service image and brand for Hengshan Mountain. He urged everyone to have the right learning attitude, standardize the implementation of the learning system, earnestly abide by the "eight-point regulation" disciplinary requirements, cherish this training opportunity, truly achieve something from the learning, and improve their ideological concepts and quality. Furthermore, we should, with a new attitude and style, jointly create the future brilliance of Hengshan Mountain.

Gao Xin, a tour guide of the scenic area, made a statement on behalf of the trainees.

On the morning of the same day, Zhao Wei, deputy director and lecturer of the Marxist Research Office of the Municipal Party School, gave a special lecture entitled "New Developments in Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era—Learning and Understanding the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China." The lecture was clear in its theme, prominent in its focus, profound in its connotation, comprehensive in its references, and vivid in its language. It provided an in-depth interpretation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which benefited the cadres and staff of the scenic area who attended the lecture and clarified their future work direction and goals.

It is reported that this training will begin on the 8th and end on the 13th. The training content also includes scenic area and cultural relic safety, 5A creation standards, Datong tourism knowledge and reception etiquette, and Hengshan Mountain culture. National, provincial, municipal, and county experts and scholars will be invited to give special lectures for the scenic area employees.
