Hengshan Mountain 5A creation training class opening


On the morning of September 26, the 2024 International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference was grandly held in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province. At the opening ceremony, the International Mountain Tourism Alliance officially released the "World Tourism Famous Mountains - Recognition Standards" and "World Tourism Famous Mountains - Recognition Guide", and announced the first batch of 14 World Tourism Famous Mountains:

On November 12th, the opening ceremony of the Hengshan Mountain 5A creation training class was held on the fourth floor of the Hengguan Committee. Cao Qilong, a member of the county government's party group, secretary of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Management Center's party committee, and director, emphasized in his speech that the purpose of our Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area 5A creation training is to thoroughly implement the deployment requirements of the provincial, city, and county governments on the high-quality development of the tourism industry, and to promote the implementation of the "three rectifications, two improvements, and one creation" 100-day intensive action. We will benchmark against the requirements for the creation of national 5A-level tourist attractions, adhere to a customer-centric approach, comprehensively improve the scenic area's service standards and quality, and provide strong support for the all-round high-quality development of Hengshan Mountain tourism.

Pei Yanyun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Management Center; Yang Xinru and Gong Wei, deputy directors, attended the meeting. Yang Xinru presided over the meeting.

Cao Qilong stressed that improving our internal skills and quality, fully preparing for the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area's 5A creation and next year's tourism reception work, is not only a necessary requirement for coping with the current tourism situation, but also a necessary requirement for the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area's 5A creation, and even more so a necessary requirement for enhancing the image of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area. We must raise our political standing, deeply understand the importance of conducting 5A creation training, firmly establish a customer-centric service philosophy, and strive to be at the forefront, being high-quality tourism professionals, constantly improving our cohesion, centripetal force, and combat effectiveness, winning the recognition and respect of tourists from all over the country with the good image and reputation of "Hengshan Mountain people". We must firmly establish a customer-centric service concept; tourism is a service industry, and our essence is "service staff." Putting tourists first and satisfying tourists is the starting point and the focal point of all our work. We must solidify service standards and good practices, fixing good systems, processes, standards, and regulations, integrating them into daily life, forming habits, and using them flexibly, truly giving tourists the most unforgettable Hengshan Mountain journey with our excellent service. We must cultivate a collective consciousness and collaborative ability. We are all employees of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area, all represent the image of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area, and are all "Hengshan Mountain people." If we want tourists to be "satisfied with their tourism in Hengshan Mountain," then there cannot be any shortcomings in every aspect of the tour. Everyone must have this collective consciousness, enhance their collaborative ability, cooperate with each other, help each other, and support each other.

Cao Qilong requested that every employee of the Hengguan Center must cherish the rare training opportunity, correct their learning attitude, carefully listen to each teacher's carefully prepared lectures, learn from the teachers attentively, actively discuss and exchange ideas, carefully write training心得, and strive to learn something and improve their skills. We must strictly abide by the training discipline requirements, and prevent the phenomena of tardiness, early departure, and casualness. We must take care of the work of the scenic area and coordinate daily reception services. Each management office and company must organize employee training to ensure that all those who should be trained are trained. We must strengthen supervision and assessment; the personnel department will take the lead in establishing a training performance evaluation and reward and punishment mechanism, including the performance of this training in personal evaluations. The office and the propaganda and education department will cooperate; those with outstanding performance will be rewarded, and those who do not take it seriously or violate training discipline will be subject to strict measures. Through training and continuous daily learning, we will improve our ideology and quality, and then work together with a new attitude and style to create the brilliant future of Hengshan Mountain.

 

After the opening ceremony, Mr. Hou from Beijing Peak Wisdom Industry, who has been engaged in enterprise training management and meticulous etiquette culture for nearly 20 years, adhering to the service concept of "making training land," and providing enterprises with high-quality customized etiquette training and standardized consulting services, gave a special training session on "Hengshan Mountain's Creation of National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Area: Service Etiquette." Mr. Hou systematically interpreted and explained the scenic area's service etiquette from five aspects: the "Li"/beauty of etiquette culture, the "Xin"/beauty of service awareness, the "Xing"/beauty of service image, the "Tai"/beauty of service demeanor, and the "Yan"/beauty of service communication, and interacted with the participating trainees throughout the process, allowing everyone to gain a lot and develop a completely new understanding of scenic area etiquette services in a subtle way.

It is understood that this training will last for one week. Experts and scholars, including Mr. Wang, vice director, associate professor, and master's supervisor of the Tourism Department of the School of Economics and Management, Beijing Jiaotong University, will be invited to explain to the scenic area employees courses such as scenic area service etiquette, how to speak Mandarin well, reception practices for assessment and evaluation, basic knowledge of 5A scenic areas, scenic area service standards, and basic knowledge of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area. Through various forms such as lectures/cases, lectures/training, and on-site training, multi-faceted training and guidance will be provided for the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area's 5A creation work.
