Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Announcement on Ticket Purchase and Related Matters Adjustments

The roads in the Hengshan Mountain temple group area have been cleared of ice and snow, and it is scheduled to reopen on November 30, 2024. The scenic area will adjust its opening and closing times as needed based on weather changes. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Dear Tourists:

To standardize tourism order and maximize the satisfaction of tourists' needs, starting from January 1, 2025, ticket supplement points and group ticket sales points will no longer be set up inside Hengshan Mountain and Hanging Temple scenic areas. All tourists (including individual and group tourists) must purchase tickets at the Hengshan Mountain Tourist Center. Tourists need to park their vehicles in the parking lot of the Tourist Center and then take the shuttle bus to enter the Hengshan Mountain and Hanging Temple scenic areas.

I. Ticketing Methods

1. Offline Ticketing: Tourists visiting Hengshan Mountain and Hanging Temple should purchase tickets at the ticket window of the Hengshan Mountain Tourist Center; tourists visiting Yong'an Temple should purchase tickets at the ticket window on the east side outside Yong'an Temple.

2. Online Ticketing: Please follow the "Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area" WeChat official account, click "Scenic Spot Ticket Reservation" and purchase scenic spot tickets according to the ticket purchase instructions.

II. Hanging Temple Entry Ticket Issuance Rules

(I) Offline Tourist Center Ticket Window

1. Off-season: Calculated from November 1st to March 31st of the following year, 1310 tickets are sold at the window, divided into morning and afternoon sessions.

2. Peak season: Calculated from April 1st to October 31st, 1960 tickets are sold at the window. A certain number of entry tickets are sold every two hours from the start of ticket sales, first come, first served, until sold out.

Ticket sales start half an hour before the scenic area opens and stop half an hour before the scenic area closes.

(II) Online WeChat Official Account and Related Platforms

1. Off-season: Calculated from November 1st to March 31st of the following year, 1000 tickets are sold, divided into morning and afternoon sessions.

2. Peak season: Calculated from April 1st to October 31st, 1300 tickets are sold, with time slots set every two hours.

In order to reduce congestion at the Hanging Temple, please strictly follow the scheduled entry time for your entry tickets.

(Note: During national statutory holidays and peak tourist seasons, the opening and closing times will be determined based on the number of tourists in the scenic area. Please pay attention to the announcements on the "Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area" WeChat official account.)

III. Ticketing Rules for Tourists Aged 60 and Above

1. For Hanging Temple entry tickets, Hengshan Mountain scenic area tickets, and Yong'an Temple scenic area tickets, tourists aged 60 and above should use their ID cards for entry, based on the "day" of their birth date on their ID card.

2. For Hanging Temple entry tickets, tourists aged 60 and above should use their ID cards to make an online "reservation for 0 yuan" entry ticket and use their ID cards for entry. Entry without a reservation is not allowed.

The above adjustments aim to provide tourists with better, more convenient, and safer services, and to improve the scenic area's operational management level and service quality.
