Announcement on Relevant Matters

In order to earnestly implement the spirit of the Shanxi Provincial Government's "Notice on Several Measures to Accelerate the Recovery and Steady Growth of the Service Industry," and to coordinate the work of epidemic prevention and control, tourist reception services, and tourism order management, the following announcement is made on the opening of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area during the National Day holiday:

I. Opening Hours

During the National Day holiday (October 1, 2020 - October 8, 2020), the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area will remain open to the public. During this period, the scenic area will no longer implement the preferential policy of free admission to the first gate on weekdays from Monday to Friday. From October 9, 2020, the preferential policy of free admission to the first gate on weekdays from Monday to Friday for tourists nationwide will be restored.

II. Flow Control Measures

In accordance with epidemic prevention and control requirements, the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area will remain open under the premise of strictly implementing epidemic prevention and control and flow control measures, with a daily reception volume not exceeding 50% of the maximum carrying capacity of the scenic area. The daily reception volume of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area during the National Day holiday is 17,000 people; reception will cease once this limit is exceeded.

III. Ticketing Methods

(1) Tourists entering the scenic area must have a green health code and make an online real-name reservation for tickets with their ID card (Tourists purchasing half-price tickets should purchase tickets at the ticket window of the scenic area).

(2) Active military personnel, revolutionary disabled servicemen, disabled persons, fire rescue personnel, medical workers, Datong City public security and auxiliary police, children under 1.2 meters tall, and senior citizens over 60 years old need to bring their relevant documents to the ticket window to process their free ticket procedures and check tickets with their ID cards.

IV. Self-Driving Parking Locations

To effectively guide traffic flow and reduce the inconvenience caused by traffic congestion to tourists, from October 1 to October 8, tourists driving to Hengshan Mountain and the Hanging Temple can park their vehicles at the Liuhe Park parking lot and take a free shuttle bus to Yuemen Bay and the Hanging Temple to purchase tickets and visit. Tourist coaches will be parked at the Xiapanpu parking lot in the Yuemen Bay area and the second parking lot of the Hanging Temple.

V. Personal Protection Requirements

(1) All personnel entering the scenic area must wear personal protective equipment such as masks. Those who do not wear masks are prohibited from entering the scenic area.

(2) Please actively present your ID card and health code at the ticket gate, and voluntarily comply with the management of on-site staff, and cooperate with body temperature checks, health code verification, etc. in an orderly manner.

( (3) Tourists should maintain a certain distance during their visits to the scenic area and avoid gatherings.

( (4) Tourists should pay attention to etiquette and personal hygiene after entering the scenic area. When coughing, spitting, or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use your elbow to protect yourself. If you experience fever, cough, or other respiratory symptoms during your visit, you must inform the scenic area's epidemic prevention personnel immediately for timely handling.
