Notice on the Resumption of Entrance Fee Collection

In accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Several Measures to Accelerate the Recovery and Stable Growth of the Service Industry" (Jinzhengbanfadian [2020] No. 45) issued by the General Office of the Shanxi Provincial Government, which stipulates that "from the second half of 2020, all state-owned A-level and above scenic areas in the province will waive entrance fees for tourists nationwide on workdays from Monday to Friday," Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area implemented a preferential policy of waiving entrance fees for tourists nationwide on workdays from Monday to Friday from July 15, 2020 to December 31, 2020. From 2021 onwards, Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area will resume charging entrance fees for tourists nationwide on workdays from Monday to Friday. The relevant matters are announced as follows:

I. From 00:00 on January 1, 2021, Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area will resume charging entrance fees for tourists nationwide on workdays from Monday to Friday. Preferential policies for special groups remain unchanged.

II. In accordance with the spirit of the Datong Municipal People's Government's "Several Policies on Promoting the Recovery of the Cultural and Tourism Industry and Tourism Benefits for the People," the exemption policy for medical workers nationwide will be implemented until December 31, 2020.

III. Appointment and Flow Control Measures

(I) In accordance with epidemic prevention and control regulations, Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area insists on opening under the premise of strictly implementing prevention and control measures, appointments, and flow control, adhering to the principle of "no appointment, no tourism." All personnel entering the scenic area must purchase tickets with real names based on compliance with epidemic prevention regulations and possession of a green health code.

(II) The scenic area will conduct real-time monitoring of personnel density, operating at no more than 75% of the maximum carrying capacity, with a provisional daily reception limit of no more than 25,000 people. Reception will cease if this limit is exceeded.

(III) The scenic area implements a real-name-based, time-slotted appointment ticket purchase system. If the number of people exceeds the limit for a specified time slot, tickets will not be available. The daily visitor limits are as follows:

Hengshan Mountain Temple Group

08:30 - 12:00 (9000 people)

12:00 - 16:00 (9000 people)

Hanging Temple

08:30 - 12:00 (3500 people)

12:00 - 16:30 (3500 people)

IV. Epidemic Prevention and Control Requirements

(I) All personnel entering the scenic area must strictly abide by epidemic prevention regulations, follow the guidance of scenic area staff, and consciously wear masks and other protective equipment.

(II) Tourists should actively cooperate with staff in body temperature checks and health code verification.

(III) Tourists should maintain a certain distance during ticket purchase, ticket checking, and sightseeing, and resolutely avoid crowding and gathering.

(IV) Tourists should pay attention to etiquette and personal hygiene after entering the scenic area. If they develop fever, cough, or other symptoms during their visit, they must inform scenic area staff immediately for timely handling.
