Joint Training Announcement

To promote the development of the local tourism industry, in accordance with the needs of Datong's transformation and development, to cultivate talents in the fields of tour guide services, travel agency management, and scenic area service and management for the Hengshan Mountain scenic area and tourism industry in Hunyuan County, and to give full play to the positive role of colleges and universities in the construction of local economic and social development, Hunyuan Teachers College, Datong University, Shanxi, provides customized training for tourism service and management talents needed by Hengshan Mountain Tourism Development Company (a state-owned enterprise under the Hunyuan County Hengshan Management Committee). In accordance with relevant documents from higher authorities, the relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

1. Training Majors and Number of Students:

① Students will enroll in the Tourism Service and Management major, with a three-year study period.

② Main Courses: Tourism English, Introduction to Tour Guiding, Tour Guiding Practice, Tourism Regulations, Scenic Area Management, Overview of Chinese Tourist Origin and Destination, Tourism Geography, Etiquette, Posture, Mandarin, and relevant artistic courses, etc., with the integration of relevant courses on Hengshan Mountain culture.

③ Full-time secondary vocational school, recruiting 40 students.

2. Training Targets:

Residents of Hunyuan County who graduated from junior high school in 2021.

3. Training Methods:

The training will adopt a "combination of work and study, complementing each other during peak and off-peak seasons" approach. From June to October each year, students will undergo practical training at Hengshan Mountain Tourism Development Company. During the training period, the company will provide students with corresponding benefits.

4. Interview Time/Location and Requirements:

① Time: July 30, 2021 - August 5, 2021, 9:00-11:30 AM and 3:00-6:00 PM daily

② Location: Hunyuan Teachers College, Datong University, Shanxi

③ Admission Requirements: Junior high school graduates of 2021, healthy, with neat facial features, well-proportioned physique, no obvious scars on exposed body parts, no tattoos, no obvious "O" or "X" legs, males over 165cm tall, females over 155cm tall.

④ Documents: Candidates need to bring their ID card and admission ticket during the interview.

⑤ Preliminary Confirmation: Interview-qualified candidates will receive an interview qualification certificate on-site.

5. Admission Methods:

① Candidates who passed the interview;

② Candidates whose junior high school entrance examination score this year is 330 or above;

③ Candidates who meet both of the above conditions will be admitted in descending order of scores until the quota is full. Under the same conditions, children from rural registered poor households, orphans, and low-income families will be given priority. Students admitted to the "Hengshan Mountain Tourism Development Company Tourism Management and Service Customized Training" class (hereinafter referred to as the "customized training class") will sign a tripartite agreement (enterprise, college, student) after confirmation to protect their legitimate rights and interests during their studies and internship employment.

6. Fee Standards and Subsidy Methods

Students admitted to the "customized training class" will be exempted from tuition fees. They will receive a living allowance of 2,000 yuan per year for the first two years. Poor households and registered poor households can enjoy the "Rain and Dew Plan" locally, with 3,000 yuan per student per year. Accommodation fees, textbook fees, uniform fees, and living expenses will be borne by the students themselves.

7. Graduation Treatment and Employment Prospects

Students in the "customized training class" who complete the required professional courses will be awarded a full-time secondary vocational school diploma by Hunyuan Teachers College, Datong University, Shanxi. All graduates will be employed by Hengshan Mountain Tourism Development Company through labor dispatch. Students who wish to pursue further studies can sign a training service agreement with the company and apply for higher vocational or undergraduate colleges with relevant majors.

8. Others

① Candidates who apply for Hunyuan Teachers College, Datong University, Shanxi, but are not admitted to the customized training class can enroll in other majors and will not enjoy the relevant policies for students in the customized training class.
