Regarding the reopening of Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area

Notice concerning free admission from May 1st to 8th  

 

Dear Tourists,

According to the latest epidemic prevention and control arrangements, and after deliberation by the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Management Center, it has been decided that from May 1, 2022, Hengshan Mountain, Hanging Temple, Yong'an Temple, and Ligong Cemetery, etc., within the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area, will reopen. From May 1st to 8th, Datong residents can enter Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area and Hanging Temple free of charge with their valid ID cards. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

1. The scenic area implements online real-name registration and ticket purchase. Tourists must make reservations through the "Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area" WeChat public account and present their valid ID cards to Enter the scenic area. In accordance with epidemic prevention requirements, the maximum number of tourists received per day shall not exceed 50% of the scenic area's maximum capacity. Reservations will be stopped once the limit is reached. Tourists who have not made reservations or who do not carry their ID cards will not be admitted to the scenic area.

2. To alleviate traffic pressure in the scenic area and maintain good tourism order, from May 1st to 8th, tourist vehicles are not allowed to Enter the scenic area. Vehicles from the north route will park in the Liuhe temporary parking lot, and vehicles from the south route will park in the Xiapanpu parking lot. Tourists can choose to take a bus or walk from the Liuhe temporary parking lot and Hengshan Mountain's back gate (south of Hengyin Road intersection) to Enter the Hanging Temple and Hengshan Mountain (Yuemen Bay) scenic area. A shuttle bus is available between the Hanging Temple and Hengshan Mountain (Yuemen Bay).

3. Tourists from other provinces must provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. Tourists from medium and high-risk areas and their counties (cities, districts, banners, towns or streets in municipalities directly under the Central Government and vice-provincial cities) and tourists with a travel history to medium and high-risk areas within 14 days will not be admitted.

4. Please consciously abide by various epidemic prevention requirements, wear masks correctly, have your temperature measured, verify your health code and itinerary code, scan the venue code, maintain a safe distance of one meter, register personal information by real name, and cooperate in epidemic prevention work.
