Notice on the Temporary Adjustment of Tourist Reservation and Control Measures

To our valued tourists:

According to the weather forecast, Hunyuan County will experience the strongest rainfall since the beginning of the flood season from July 30th to August 2nd. There will be thunderstorms, strong winds, short-term heavy rainfall, and hail during certain periods. The main period of heavy rainfall will be concentrated from July 30th to August 1st, which may easily induce natural disasters such as floods and mudslides. To effectively ensure the safety of lives and property of tourists and the public, the scenic area's reception and control measures will be temporarily adjusted. Details are as follows:

Starting from 5 pm on July 29th, Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area and Hanging Temple Scenic Area will be temporarily closed. Tourists who have not yet entered the scenic area should refund their tickets through their original purchase channels. Tourists who have already entered the scenic area should leave immediately. The specific reopening time of the scenic area will depend on the rainfall situation. The scenic area will release relevant information on the reopening via the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area WeChat Official Account.

We appreciate the understanding and patience of all tourists. At the same time, we remind all tourists to avoid outdoor high-altitude hiking activities as much as possible, stay away from steep cliffs, rivers, and the foot of mountains where there is a risk of falling rocks and accumulated water.
