Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Announcement on Adjustments to Opening and Closing Hours and Related Matters

Due to seasonal changes and in order to better serve our tourists, the opening and closing times, ticketing methods, and transportation schedules for the scenic area from March 1st to April 30th, 2025, have been adjusted as follows:

Due to seasonal changes and to better serve our tourists, the opening and closing times, ticketing methods, shuttle times, and other relevant matters for the scenic area from March 1st to April 30th, 2025, are adjusted as follows:

I. Opening and Closing Times

Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area: 8:00 AM——4:30 PM; Hanging Temple Scenic Area: 8:00 AM——5:00 PM; Yong'an Temple: 8:30 AM——5:00 PM; Yuanjue Temple: 8:30 AM——5:00 PM; Lishi Jiasheng: 8:30 AM——5:00 PM.

II. Ticketing Methods

(1) Offline Ticketing

From March 1st to April 30th, 2025, tourists visiting the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area and the Hanging Temple Scenic Area should purchase tickets at the ticket window of the Hengshan Mountain Tourist Service Center. Ticketing hours are: Hengshan Mountain 7:30 AM——4:00 PM, Hanging Temple 7:30 AM——4:30 PM; Tourists visiting Yong'an Temple should purchase tickets at the ticket window on the east side outside Yong'an Temple. Ticketing hours are 8:30 AM——5:00 PM.

(2) Online Ticketing

Please follow the "Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area" WeChat Official Account, click on "Scenic Spot Ticket Reservation", and purchase tickets according to the specified instructions. The ticket purchase time starts at 7:20 AM every day and ends at closing time. Tickets for the next 7 days can be purchased.

II. Notice for Visitors Aged 60 and Above

For visitors aged 60 and above, please use your ID card to Enter the Hanging Temple, Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area, and Yong'an Temple Scenic Area. The date on your ID card will be used as a reference; For ascending the Hanging Temple, visitors aged 60 and above should purchase a free ticket using their ID card and use their ID card to Enter. The date on your ID card will be used as a reference.

III. Ticketing Notice for Special Tourists

Due to ongoing improvements to the ticketing system, some special tourists cannot currently purchase tickets online. Please purchase tickets at the ticket center in the visitor center before entering the scenic area.

1. Currently, online purchases for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and international tourists are limited to tickets for the Hanging Temple, Hengshan Mountain, and Yong'an Temple. To purchase tickets for ascending, please use your passport or other valid documents to purchase tickets at the ticket center in the visitor center before entering the scenic area.

2. Tourists who enjoy preferential policies, such as people with disabilities, active military personnel (military families), martyrs' families, families of military personnel who died in the line of duty, families of deceased military personnel, retired military cadres, retired non-commissioned officers, public security personnel, firefighters, and full-time undergraduate and below college students over 18 years old, cannot enjoy preferential services online. Please register or purchase preferential tickets at the ticket center in the visitor center with your ID card and other valid documents before entering the scenic area.

IV. Shuttle Bus Departure Time from the Visitor Center

From March 1st to April 30th, 2025, tourists will still need to park their vehicles in the visitor center parking lot and take the shuttle bus to Hengshan Mountain and the Hanging Temple Scenic Areas.

The ticket sales and departure times for the shuttle bus from the Visitor Center to the Hanging Temple are 7:30 AM——4:30 PM;

The ticket sales and departure times for the shuttle bus from the Visitor Center to Hengshan Mountain (Yuemen Bay) are 7:30 AM——4:00 PM.

During national statutory holidays and peak tourist seasons, or in case of severe weather, the opening and closing times, ticket sales and suspension, and shuttle bus departure times from the visitor center will be adjusted accordingly based on the number of visitors. Please keep an eye on the latest updates on the "Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area" WeChat Official Account and arrange your travel time accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
