Writing furiously

The assessment covered a comprehensive range of content, including written examinations, presentation of commentary, and on-site explanations at scenic spots.

On April 16th, the written examination was conducted. Tour guides had to complete examination papers covering various aspects of Hengshan Mountain, including its history, culture, geography, religious beliefs, folk customs, and current events, testing their knowledge base and theoretical foundation.

Showcasing themselves

On April 17th, in the commentary presentation segment, tour guides prepared presentations on Hengshan Mountain's characteristic scenic spots, historical stories, and cultural connotations. Through vivid and fluent language, and rich emotional expression, they showcased the unique charm of Hengshan Mountain to the fullest extent.

During the assessment, all tour guides demonstrated solid professional skills and a positive attitude. Their profound understanding of Hengshan Mountain's culture and skillful application of interpretation techniques earned them unanimous praise from the judges.

During the thematic presentation on Xi Zun, Liu Yang used the artistic characteristics of the Xi Zun's "ox-shaped body and beautiful decorations" as a starting point. Combining the ritual culture and bronze casting technology of the Spring and Autumn Period, Liu Yang took the judges and observing leaders on a journey through the millennia. Zhang Qiqin, focusing on the Li Family's Fine City, unfolded the story from architectural layout, sculptural art, and family history, narrating the story of this ancient architectural complex that carries local humanistic memory. Zhu Zhifang, using Hunyuan Ancient City as the main thread, linked the historical memory and lively atmosphere of the ancient city from its street layout to its folk customs with delicate language, allowing the judges to experience the unique charm of the ancient city firsthand.

On-site interpretation at scenic spots is the most crucial part of the assessment, and will be conducted next week. Tour guides will visit Hunyuan Ancient City and various scenic spots in Hengshan Mountain, using the actual scene as a backdrop to deliver detailed and vivid interpretations, fully demonstrating their ability to adapt to situations, communication skills, and familiarity with the scenic spots.

Conclusion

This annual assessment is not only a comprehensive examination of the tour guides' work over the past year, but also serves to identify problems, summarize experience, and promote learning and exchange among the tour guides, thus improving the overall service level of the entire team. In the future, Hengshan Mountain Tourism Company will continue to strengthen the construction of its tour guide team, continuously improve service quality, and bring tourists a more exciting and memorable tourism experience, pushing the Hengshan Mountain tourism industry to new heights.
