Ticket Purchase Notice for Hanging Temple

I. Hanging Temple is a pure wooden structure and a "national treasure" cultural relic. To strengthen cultural relic protection, in accordance with the "Hanging Temple Protection Plan" and relevant regulations, the number of tickets for daily visits is controlled within 3260. This number will be reduced year by year in the future.

II. 1600 tickets are sold online, including 200 free tickets (60 years old and above), Special tickets 50 (active military personnel, disabled persons, retired military personnel, public security), 50 student tickets. 1660 tickets are sold offline (830 tickets are sold in the morning and afternoon respectively), including 300 free tickets (150 tickets in the morning and afternoon respectively).

III. Online booking for tickets within 7 days is available from 7:20 to 21:00 daily. Offline tickets are only sold on the day of visit. In peak season, morning tickets are sold at 7:30; in the off-season, at 8:00; during the May Day holiday, at 6:30. Afternoon tickets are sold at 12:00.

IV. The offline ticket window is located at the Hengshan Mountain Visitor Center. During the May Day holiday, two additional ticket booths will be set up at the Hanging Temple. Tourists and tour groups from the Liuhe direction can purchase tickets at the west side of the ferry drop-off point and the west side of the entrance ticket check-in point, respectively.

V. Both entrance tickets and climbing tickets are required. For other ticketing rules, please refer to the ticketing page.

VI. The revenue from climbing tickets is mainly used for cultural relic protection. The scenic area controls the number of free tickets while trying to meet the needs of the free ticket group.

VII. Online sales of climbing tickets are only authorized to Beiyue Yunyou mini-programs, Ctrip, Tongcheng, and Alipay. Please do not trust the ticket purchase promises of other platforms and personnel to avoid damage to your own interests.

Warm reminder: The Hanging Temple is a high-altitude cliff-side building. Climbing may cause acrophobia, dizziness, and other adverse reactions. For the safety of visitors aged 70 and above, weighing over 100 kg, or suffering from cardiovascular diseases (such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, stroke, etc.), moderate to severe respiratory diseases, or whose physical condition is not suitable for climbing or strenuous exercise, please choose carefully.
