Notes on purchasing Hanging Temple tickets

I. Hanging Temple, a purely wooden structure and one of the world's ten most dangerous buildings, is a world-renowned ancient architecture. To strengthen its protection, in accordance with the "Hanging Temple Protection Plan" and relevant regulations, the daily number of tickets is controlled to within 3260, and will be reduced year by year in the future.

II. 1600 tickets are sold online, including 200 free tickets (for those aged 60 and above), 50 special tickets (for active military personnel, disabled people, retired military personnel, and public security personnel), and 100 student tickets. 1660 tickets are sold offline (830 tickets in the morning and 830 in the afternoon), including 300 free tickets (150 in the morning and 150 in the afternoon).

III. Online booking is available from 7:20 AM to 9:00 PM daily for tickets within 7 days. Offline tickets are only sold on the day of visit. During the summer vacation from July 7th to August 31st, morning tickets are sold at 7:00 AM, and afternoon tickets are sold at 12:00 PM.

IV. Both entrance tickets and climbing tickets must be purchased simultaneously. For other ticketing rules, please refer to the ticketing page.

V. The revenue from climbing tickets is mainly used for the protection of cultural relics. The scenic area adjusts the number of free tickets while meeting the needs of some free ticket groups.

VI VII. Online tickets are only sold through the "North Yue Yunyou" mini-program. Offline ticket windows are located at the Hengshan Mountain Tourist Center. Both ticket purchase and inspection adopt a real-name system. Please do not trust the ticket purchase promises of other platforms and individuals to avoid damage to your own rights and interests.

Warm reminder: The Hanging Temple is a high-altitude cliff-side building. Climbing may cause acrophobia, dizziness, and other adverse reactions. For visitors aged 70 or above, weighing over 100 kg, or suffering from cardiovascular diseases (such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, stroke, etc.), moderate to severe respiratory diseases, or those whose physical condition is not suitable for climbing or strenuous exercise, please choose carefully for your own safety.
