On the morning of October 1, coinciding with the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a vibrant "Sing for the Motherland" flash mob event titled "North Yue United Voices · Hunyuan United Hearts" unfolded passionately at the Hengshan Mountain Visitor Center. Melodious tunes intertwined with soaring voices as visitors and performers from all corners of the globe joined together, waving national flags in heartfelt unity and pouring out their sincere emotions—and moving melodies—to celebrate and offer the most heartfelt blessings to our beloved motherland.

On the first day of the National Day holiday, Hengshan Mountain welcomed visitors in a "crowd-filled" atmosphere. As a familiar opening melody began to play, four professional performers stepped into the throng and passionately sang "My Motherland and Me." The unexpected music instantly drew everyone's attention, prompting tourists to stop and listen intently. Soon after, more voices joined in—tourists holding vibrant five-star red flags, their clear and powerful voices echoing above the visitor center. "My motherland and I, inseparable for even a moment; wherever I go, a song of praise flows from my heart..." The moving melody quickly ignited the festive spirit, inspiring visitors to pull out their phones and cameras to capture this deeply touching moment. "We’re 80 years old this year—and it’s our first time visiting Hunyuan! Today, being able to celebrate our country’s birthday alongside so many young people feels truly unforgettable," said two elderly visitors, visibly moved. Meanwhile, many children nearby quietly hummed along, accompanied by their parents.

The head of Hunyuan's cultural and tourism department stated that the "Sing for the Motherland" flash mob event, held on National Day, aims to create a vibrant festive atmosphere in a fresh, interactive way, while inspiring patriotic enthusiasm among visitors and staff alike. "Hengshan Mountain is not only a breathtaking natural wonder but also a historic landmark deeply rooted in China's profound cultural heritage. Through this kind of activity, we hope visitors can appreciate the magnificent landscapes of our great motherland while also feeling proud and honored to be Chinese—integrating their patriotic spirit into their journey and ensuring that the red legacy continues to thrive amidst the lush greenery and serene mountains."
