The "Three Mountains and Five Peaks" Alliance Declaration was released at Yandang Mountain.


On November 18, the China "Three Mountains and Five Peaks" Exchange Symposium, themed "Carrying Forward the Past, Ushering in the Future, Walking Hand in Hand, and Jointly Painting Tomorrow," kicked off at Yandang Mountain. Representatives from renowned mountains—including Huangshan, Lushan, Yandang, Mount Tai, Huashan, Hengshan Mountain, and Songshan—gathered to celebrate their shared ecological heritage, explore collaborative strategies, and jointly chart a new chapter of sustainable development for mountain tourism.

During the symposium, representatives from various famous mountains engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as scenic area development and cultural-tourism innovation. Each participant shared their valuable explorations and exemplary experiences in areas like scenic area management, cultural-tourism event planning, innovative practices, as well as the preservation and revitalization of intangible cultural heritage. Sun Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Mount Tai Scenic Area, delivered a keynote speech titled "Deepening Innovation Practices, Highlighting the Value of Mountains, and Striving to Write a New Chapter of High-Quality Integrated Cultural-Tourism Development." In his speech, he systematically introduced Mount Tai's unique resource endowments and highlighted the practical experiences gained in recent years regarding the mountain's protection, management, and sustainable development—earnings that were highly praised by all attendees. Shi Zhenqiang, Member of the Party Committee of the Mount Tai Scenic Area and Chairman of the Mount Tai Cultural & Tourism Group, along with heads of relevant departments and institutions, also attended the meeting. The discussion further focused on the deep integration and innovative transformation of the cultural-tourism industry, with participants jointly exploring collaborative approaches and viable pathways, such as designing and promoting joint preferential policies for the "Three Mountains and Five Peaks" initiative, as well as organizing co-hosted tourism promotion events.

At the conference, the Alliance solemnly released the "Three Mountains and Five Peaks Alliance Declaration," clearly outlining "ecological priority, open collaboration, and co-creation with shared benefits" as its core principles, jointly building a community of shared destiny for the sustainable development of these renowned mountains.

During the meeting, representatives from Mount Mingshan conducted an on-site inspection of Yandang Mountain. Square Cave: Gathering Light in the Clouds , the Lingfeng Night Scenery and Lingyan Flying Across projects—both exemplary models of cultural and tourism integration—allowed us to personally experience Yandang Mountain’s innovative practices and remarkable achievements in this field. Together, we officially launched the 2025 Maritime Silk Road Cities Cooperation and Development Conference & International Travel Trade Fair. Three Mountains, Five Peaks, Four Islands "Joint Tourism Check-in Campaign. Characterized by 'Mountains and Seas in Harmony, Green Travel,' the campaign features a series of interactive online and offline missions. Visitors can collect stamps and complete check-ins to discover the unique charm of China's Three Mountains and Five Great Peaks. This initiative marks the alliance's first innovative effort to turn collaborative intentions into marketable products, and it also kicks off the "Painting the Future Together" campaign."

It is reported that this conference is jointly hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Forestry Bureau, the Wenzhou Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, and the People's Government of Yueqing City, with the Yandang Mountain Scenic and Tourist Management Committee of Wenzhou City serving as the organizer.
