The Hunyuan County Culture and Tourism Association’s Initiative to All Residents of the County for the Establishment of Hengshan Mountain as a National 5A-Level Tourist Attraction

Hengshan Mountain is an outstanding representative of China's magnificent landscapes, the cultural cradle of the Chinese nation, and the birthplace of the splendid Huaxia civilization—as well as our spiritual home on which we depend for survival. As one of the first batch of national-level scenic spots designated by the State Council in 1982, the Hengshan Scenic Area has consistently received high attention from governments at all levels of the Party and the state. The Hunyuan County Party Committee and County Government have placed the development of Hengshan into a national 5A-level tourist zone at the forefront of their work. With the ongoing deepening of this initiative, we have now entered a critical phase. Therefore, the Hunyuan County Cultural and Tourism Association hereby issues the following appeal to operators in all relevant industries throughout the county and to all residents of the county:

1. Operators in various tourism-related industries throughout the county—such as major hotels, restaurants, guesthouses, local specialty product stores, cultural and creative tourism shops, retail outlets for tourism products, transportation and bus companies, taxi companies, and amusement parks—should enhance their sense of responsibility and ownership in providing service, firmly embrace the business philosophy of "I serve Hengshan Mountain, and Hengshan Mountain serves me," and create a harmonious, civilized, and welcoming tourism environment for visitors.

2. All administrative units, government agencies, organizations, institutions stationed in Hun, and state-owned enterprises and public institutions operating in Hun throughout the county must firmly embrace their sense of responsibility and maintain close alignment with the working guidelines of the Huyuan County Party Committee and County Government. They should remove obstacles and resolve difficulties, leverage their respective environmental advantages, and wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the development of the Hengshan National 5A Tourist Area.

3. The entire county’s people are actively taking action. Hengshan Mountain is mine, and it’s yours too. The greatest beneficiaries of Hengshan Mountain’s development are the broad masses of Hunyuan County’s residents. The rapid growth of the tourism economy is closely linked to the happy lives of all the county’s residents. The broad masses of the people must work together with the Hunyuan County Party Committee and the county government, pooling our hearts and efforts in one direction, and fostering a spirit that everyone is part of the tourism environment and every place is a tourism brand. Let’s cherish our environment, safeguard our home, keep the areas in front of our own doors clean, tidy, and hygienic, and enhance the overall image of the entire county.

4. All residents of the county shall jointly safeguard Hunyuan’s tourism environment and strive to conduct business with integrity and in compliance with the law. We will strictly enforce price-related laws and regulations, ensure transparent pricing at all times, and firmly commit to treating both children and the elderly with fairness and honesty, thereby fully showcasing Hunyuan’s positive image as a tourist destination. We will comprehensively upgrade service standards, rigorously adhere to industry norms, and provide tourists with safe, hygienic, and convenient services. During the course of providing services, we will conscientiously use polite language, offer warm and welcoming smiles, and proactively and positively address consumers’ legitimate requests.

5. The people of the entire county will jointly uphold tourism order, conscientiously abide by the laws and regulations governing market competition, consciously resist false advertising, firmly refrain from engaging in commercial defamation and unfair competition, and together maintain a healthy tourism market order. They voluntarily accept supervision from all sectors of society, build a positive reputation for the county’s tourism market, and create a civilized, high-quality, and trustworthy external tourism environment to ensure that Hengshan Mountain smoothly passes the national 5A-level tourist attraction assessment.

The Hunyuan County Cultural and Tourism Association, together with all tourism-related businesses in the county and the broad masses of the people throughout the county, is eager to work diligently and move forward vigorously toward Hengshan Mountain's early entry into the national 5A-level tourist area, pooling the wisdom of the entire association to contribute our strength!
