On December 3, our county held a rally to pledge commitment to the 5A-level development of the Hengshan Mountain scenic area, further aligning thinking, clarifying objectives, reinforcing responsibilities, and boosting morale. The rally mobilized all sectors of the county to wholeheartedly commit themselves to the final sprint of the 5A-level development effort with a determined and victorious spirit, resolutely winning the tough battle to achieve the 5A-level status for the Hengshan Mountain scenic area.

County Party Secretary and County Governor Zhao Yuqing attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Yang Qiongsheng, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, presided over the meeting.

Li Yuexin, Director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress; Li Qizhong, Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference; Cao Qilong, Director of the Hengshan Scenic Area Management Center; Xie Risheng, Member of the County Party Committee Standing Committee and Minister of Organization; Hu Peng, Member of the County Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy County Mayor; and Xu Jinri, Member of the County Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the County Discipline Inspection Commission, and Director of the Supervisory Commission—along with other leaders from the county’s four leading bodies and the heads of the judicial and procuratorial organs—attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Cao Qilong read out the work plan for developing the Hengshan Mountain scenic area into a national 5A-level tourist attraction and made specific arrangements and deployments for the development work.

Xie Risheng made arrangements for organizational support in the establishment of the 5A initiative.

Xu Jinri made arrangements for disciplinary guarantees related to the 5A creation effort.

The County Culture and Tourism Association has issued an initiative calling for the creation of a high-quality tourism environment.

Representatives from various sectors, including the county’s culture and tourism bureau, cultural and tourism company, cultural and tourism association, Tianhe Taxi Company, Hongfu Restaurant, and Hengshan International Hotel, each delivered statements.

County Party Secretary and County Governor Zhao Yuqing presented the flag, which was then received by Cao Qilong, Party Secretary and Director of the Hengshan Scenic Area Management Center.

Zhao Yuqing pointed out that, The creation of Hengshan Mountain as a 5A-level scenic area is by no means a simple brand upgrade; rather, it is a strategic move that concerns the long-term development of Hunyuan and benefits all the county’s residents. It carries profound significance, has far-reaching implications, and comes with a glorious mission. We must elevate our political awareness, forge a shared ideological consensus, and deeply recognize that the creation of Hengshan Mountain as a 5A-level scenic area represents a historic opportunity to empower Hunyuan’s rise. It unleashes the core driving force for “transformation and breakthrough,” is a major political task entrusted to us by the provincial and municipal authorities, and entails the weighty mission of “living up to high expectations.” It is a livelihood project that responds to the aspirations of all the county’s residents and embodies the people-centered spirit of “benefiting the local community.” All levels and departments must focus on key tasks, tackle outstanding shortcomings, and comprehensively lay a solid foundation for the successful creation of Hengshan Mountain as a 5A-level scenic area.
