County Party Secretary Zhao Yuqing Conducts In-depth Research at the Hengshan Scenic Area Management Center

On January 4, the first day of work after the New Year's holiday, Zhao Yuqing, the county Party secretary, visited the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Management Center to extend greetings and condolences to the cadres and staff, conduct research and provide guidance on the scenic area’s work, and hold a collective talk with the center’s leadership team, newly appointed section-level leading officials, and heads of various scenic spots and attractions, offering encouragement and boosting morale for the party members, cadres, and staff of the scenic area.

Cao Qilong, Director of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Management Center, Xie Risheng, Member of the County Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Department, and Xu Jinri, Member of the County Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Director of the Supervisory Commission, attended the event.

During the调研, Zhao Yuqing listened to a report on the Hengshan Management Center's 2025 work summary and 2026 work plan. He gave full recognition to the Center's efforts and, on behalf of the county Party committee and county government, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all staff members who are working tirelessly on the front lines of culture and tourism throughout the county. He said that in recent years, the Hengshan Scenic Area has achieved remarkable results—whether it’s the upgrading of infrastructure, the comprehensive enhancement of service quality, the innovative development of cultural and tourism products, or the continuous improvement of its brand image—all these accomplishments reflect everyone’s hard work and dedicated efforts. Especially in recent years, as the number of tourists has surged dramatically, all the staff members of the Hengshan Management Center have put the collective good above their own families, ensuring that tourist reception has remained smooth and orderly.

Zhao Yuqing pointed out that the Hengshan Mountain scenic area enjoys nationwide fame and serves as the leading force driving high-quality development of the county’s cultural and tourism industry. The members of the Hengshan Management Center’s leadership team, newly appointed section-level cadres, and heads of various scenic spots must always keep their mission in mind, fully perform their duties, stay firmly focused on development goals, spare no effort to overcome difficulties, consciously shoulder their responsibilities, and ensure the successful completion of the 5A accreditation work for Hengshan Mountain. We must deeply explore the core culture of Hengshan Mountain, comprehensively streamline the management system, fully leverage the leading role of the core scenic area, continuously improve and accelerate project construction, strive for excellence in integrated regional development, and innovate and make breakthroughs in planning for scenic area expansion. We must continue to strengthen the building of the leadership team, forging a strong cultural and tourism workforce that dares to take responsibility, excels in action, charges forward bravely, and possesses the necessary capabilities. The Hengshan Management Center must enhance its own internal development, ensuring that the leadership team becomes a robust and capable core of strategic thinking and effective implementation. It must also intensify professional training, enabling every cadre to become a key player in their respective fields; and it must reinforce style of work, continuing to uphold the spirit of dedication and devoting themselves wholeheartedly to the development of the county’s cultural and tourism sector.

Zhao Yuqing emphasized that Hengshan Mountain is the mother mountain that nourishes the people of Hunyuan. It is our inescapable responsibility to promote the development of Hengshan Mountain and drive the common prosperity of all the county’s residents. With a sense of mission that says, “If not me, who else?” and with practical and diligent execution, we must carry out all tasks related to the development of Hengshan Mountain and the advancement of cultural and tourism industries more meticulously, realistically, and effectively, injecting strong momentum into Hunyuan’s high-quality development and delivering a satisfactory result to the people of the entire county.

At the meeting, Comrade Xu Jinri conducted a collective integrity talk with the newly appointed officials. Xu Jinri urged all newly appointed officials to always put political development first, stay true to the political direction, strictly abide by political discipline, and enhance their political capabilities, thus demonstrating firm faith and loyalty to the Party. They should adopt a correct view of power, deeply understand the fundamental principle that "power is wielded for the people," and always prioritize the interests of the people, cultivating a sense of awe and exercising self-discipline rigorously. They must regard fulfilling their duties and taking responsibility as their due obligation in public service, uphold practical and diligent work, lead by example, and consistently be fully aware of their responsibilities—both in their hearts and in their actions—and translate this awareness into concrete achievements, thereby making their own contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the Hengshan Mountain scenic area.

Before the meeting, the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Management Center organized a briefing to convey and study the spirit of the county's Two Sessions as well as the speech delivered by Zhao Yuqing, Secretary of the County Party Committee, at the third plenary session of the 7th Meeting of the 18th County People's Congress, and then shared views on focusing efforts on building "Five Hearts and Five Places."
