5 month 1 On that day, a briefing on the design plan for the rafting project in the Hengshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area was held in the conference room of the Hengshan Tourist Center.

Zhao Yuqing, Secretary of the County Party Committee, attended the meeting.

Li Yuexin, Director of the Standing Committee of the County People’s Congress, presided over the meeting.

Qiao Pu, a member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Director of the County Party Committee Office, Li Qian, a member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Deputy County Magistrate, and Liu Dongsheng, Director of the Government Office, attended the meeting.

Leaders from the County Culture and Tourism Bureau, Water Resources Bureau, Forestry Bureau, Dongfang Urban–Rural Development Office, Peicun Township, as well as Shaanxi Qingnong Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and Beijing Shidai Lantu Cultural Tourism Planning Institute, among other relevant units, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Beijing Times Blueprint Cultural Tourism Planning Institute presented on-site the design plan for the rafting project at the Hengshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. Attendees then spoke on the overall positioning, specific content, construction management, and feasibility of the design plan, and offered targeted opinions and suggestions based on the actual development of our county’s tourism industry.

The meeting emphasized that Hengshan Mountain is a treasure trove of cultural relics and boasts a profound history, making it a gem of Chinese civilization. Proper planning for the rafting project in the Hengshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is of great significance for our county’s development of all-for-one tourism, the expansion of the county’s cultural and tourism industry, and the establishment of the Hunyuan cultural and tourism brand. The design agency should focus closely on spatial layout, transportation planning, supporting facilities, and safe operation, refining the design content and optimizing the design scheme. During the design process, full consideration must be given to the topography, landforms, and microclimate within the Grand Canyon, with safety awareness placed as the top priority and “safety” integrated throughout the entire project to ensure that every stage and aspect complies with safety standards. It is essential to strengthen the sense of responsibility, pay close attention to construction details, rigorously control engineering quality, and make every effort to ensure that the project progresses smoothly, efficiently, and with high quality. All departments should enhance coordination and collaboration, emphasize timeliness, firmly embrace the “one overall plan” mindset, focus on bottlenecks and difficulties in handling project procedures, promptly resolve challenges encountered during project advancement, strive to accelerate and improve the efficiency of procedure processing, and work diligently to transform the Hengshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area into a core traffic driver for the summer season and a popular check-in landmark, thereby jointly promoting the high-quality development of Hunyuan’s cultural and tourism industry.

On the morning of that day, Zhao Yuqing chaired a briefing on the operational plan for the large-scale live-action performance “Why the Hanging Temple?”

Cao Qilong, Director of the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Management Center, Hu Peng, a member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Deputy County Magistrate, and Qiao Pu, a member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Director of the County Party Committee Office, attended the meeting.

Leaders from the county’s culture and tourism bureau, water resources bureau, Hengshan Culture and Tourism Company, and Huaying Culture and Tourism Group Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Huaying Culture and Tourism Group Co., Ltd. provided a detailed briefing on the operational plan for the large-scale live-action performance “Why the Hanging Temple.”

Following the briefing, the attending leaders offered specific, guidance-oriented recommendations on the operational plan for the large-scale live-action performance “Why Xuan Kong Temple?” and promptly coordinated on-site solutions to the issues and challenges encountered during operations.
