Notice on Recent Traffic Control Measures in Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area

Dear Tourists:

To provide you with a harmonious, orderly, safe, and stable travel environment, alleviate traffic pressure on the scenic roads, and prepare for summer tourism reception, the following announcement on tourist reception during the summer vacation (August 9-25, 2024) is hereby issued:

1. During the summer vacation, tourists need to park their vehicles in the visitor center parking lot and take the shuttle bus to enter the scenic area.

2. During the summer vacation, traffic control will be implemented on roads leading to the scenic area, including the Hengshan Mountain Nanlu Hengyinggang Nanlu intersection, Cuiping Road Erjiuchang intersection, Hengzong Avenue Bus Station intersection, Hengzong Avenue large roundabout Nanlu intersection, and National Highway 239 Tourist Road West intersection.

Tourists arriving from Hunyuan West Expressway entrance, Hunyuan North Expressway entrance, Provincial Highway 203 Daling Line (Datong direction), Provincial Highway 303 Zhengyang Line (Guangling direction), and National Highway 336 Xishao Line (Yingxian direction) need to park their vehicles free of charge at the visitor center parking lot and then take the shuttle bus to visit the Hanging Temple and Hengshan Mountain (Yuemenwan).

Tourists coming from the Provincial Highway 203 Daling Line (Lingqiu direction) need to park their vehicles in the Xiapanpu parking lot and then take a free shuttle bus to Hengshan Mountain (Yuemenwan) and purchase tickets separately.

3. During the summer vacation, the ticket sales and departure times for the shuttle bus from the visitor center to the Hanging Temple are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM; the ticket sales and departure times for the shuttle bus from the visitor center to Hengshan Mountain (Yuemenwan) are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The unified ticket Price for the shuttle bus is 20 yuan per person. On the day of ticket purchase, tourists can travel freely between the visitor center, Hanging Temple, Yuemenwan, and Hengzong without any additional charges.

After arriving at Yuemenwan, tourists will be diverted and can choose to take the cable car directly to the Hengshan Mountain temple group area or transfer to a shuttle bus to Hengzong.

4. During the summer vacation, tourist buses can directly reach the Hanging Temple and Yuemenwan parking lots and stop at designated parking spaces.

Please arrange your travel time reasonably, abide by the scenic area regulations, protect cultural relics and historical sites, do not scribble or climb at will. Pay attention to the weather conditions during your trip. Houn Hunyuan wishes you a pleasant journey!
