To fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, ensure the high-quality completion of the 5A scenic area creation, comprehensively improve the business skills of interpreters, build a first-class team of interpreters, and polish the tourism service "window" of Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area, on February 24 and March 11, Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area interpreters went to Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area in Shandong in batches for professional study of interpretation practices, learning from each other's strengths to make up for their weaknesses, laying a solid foundation for improving the quality of interpretation, and building a high-quality interpretation service team of the "Hengshan Mountain Brand".

Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area is in the "climbing period" of building a 5A scenic area, and improving the quality of the interpretation team is an important component of the soft power of Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area. "Without learning, one cannot expand one's talents; without ambition, one cannot achieve learning." Only through persistent learning and practice can a high-quality and high-standard Hengshan Mountain interpreter team be built.

The interpreters of Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area are a benchmark in the industry, and their high-standard and high-quality interpretation team has become a model scenic area for national tour guides. Established in 1983, the Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area interpretation team is a beautiful business card for the Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area, attracting scenic areas from all over the country to learn and exchange every year. The interpreters of Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area have strict requirements in terms of image temperament, appearance, demeanor, mental outlook, basic language skills, knowledge reserves, and innovation ability, and they have implemented these high standards and strict requirements day after day and year after year.

The courses of this study include "The Art of Tour Guide Language", "The History of Qi Jiguang's Resistance Against the Japanese", "The History of the Development of the Maritime Silk Road", "Service Cases and Skills", as well as voice training and language expression by gold medal tour guides and interpreters, the tourism development situation and tourism reception service requirements, etiquette standards for tour guides and interpreters, how to cultivate cultural tour guides and interpreters, and tour guide and interpreter service skills. The richness of the course content yielded great gains for the interpreters of our Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area.

After the theoretical study, we exchanged views with Minister Fan Li, Section Chief Xiu Linlin, and Section Chief Gong Yu Jiao of Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area on issues such as the construction of the interpreter team. We unanimously agreed that interpreters, as the business card of the scenic area, are an important bridge connecting the scenic area and tourists, and are also an important channel for tourists to understand the local culture and customs. The development of the interpretation team is also an important part of the development of local culture and tourism.

Interpreters represent the image of a scenic area and are the soul of the scenic area's service. Some professional management will also be put on the agenda.

In the long run, with gradual accumulation, enhancing our external image and internal qualities, the tourism development of our Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area will surely reach a new level. The Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area interpretation team has a history of 36 years, and every interpreter has a Hengshan Mountain complex. Every son and daughter of Hengshan Mountain shoulders the responsibility and burden of telling the story of Hengshan Mountain. In this hopeful spring season, let us work together to live up to our youth, strive forward, welcome the full recovery of the tourism industry with our best posture, and contribute our enthusiasm to help Hengshan Mountain complete the creation of the 5A scenic area.
