The annual inspection and maintenance of the Hengshan Mountain cable car has been successfully completed. After a trial run, everything is functioning normally and it is safe to operate. It has been decided that normal operations will resume on January 18, 2025.

Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Announcement on Ticket Purchase and Related Matters Adjustments
To regulate tourism order and maximize visitor satisfaction, starting January 1, 2025, ticket supplement points and group ticket sales points will no longer be set up inside Hengshan Mountain and the Hanging Temple scenic area. All visitors (including individual and group tourists) must purchase tickets at the Hengshan Mountain Visitor Center. Visitors should park their vehicles in the Visitor Center parking lot and then take the shuttle bus to enter Hengshan Mountain and the Hanging Temple scenic area.

Due to the impact of snowfall, the roads in the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area and Hanging Temple are severely icy. To ensure the safety of tourists, the main temple group in the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area is temporarily closed. The Hanging Temple Scenic Area remains open for visits, but access to the temple itself is temporarily suspended. Tourists who have purchased tickets for the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area and Hanging Temple should apply for a refund through the original channels. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
