Announcement on Adjustment of Ticket Sales Time at Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area

Due to a surge in tourist volume during the Spring Festival, in order to better serve the vast number of tourists and avoid the phenomenon of network congestion and difficulty in purchasing tickets caused by concentrated ticket grabbing, the ticket purchasing time and related matters of the scenic spot are now adjusted as follows:

To our valued tourists:

Due to a surge in visitor numbers during the Spring Festival, to better serve our tourists and avoid network congestion and difficulty in purchasing tickets due to concentrated ticket purchasing, the following adjustments are made to the scenic spot ticket purchasing time and related matters:

Opening and Closing Times

Hengshan Mountain: 8:30——16:00, Hanging Temple: 8:30——16:30, Yong'an Temple: 8:30——16:30, Yuanjue Temple: 8:30——16:30, Lishi Jiasheng: 8:30——16:30.

Ticketing Methods

(1) Ticketing Rules for Hengshan Mountain, Hanging Temple, and Yong'an Temple

1. When the number of tourists does not exceed the maximum carrying capacity, tourists can purchase tickets online and offline.

2. Online tickets can be purchased within 7 days (including the day of the visit). Please purchase tickets from 07:20 to 21:30 daily via the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area official account and Ctrip platform. Same-day ticket purchases can only be made before closing time; tickets cannot be purchased after closing time.

3. For offline ticket purchases, please go to the ticket window at the Hengshan Mountain Visitor Center. Ticket purchase hours are: Hanging Temple 8:00——16:00, Hengshan Mountain 8:00——15:30; Tourists visiting Yong'an Temple please purchase tickets at the ticket window on the east side of Yong'an Temple, ticket purchase hours are 8:30——16:30.

(2) Ticketing Rules for Entering the Hanging Temple

1. Online reservation. From February 1, 2025, you can purchase tickets to enter the temple within 7 days. Please purchase tickets from 07:20 to 21:30 daily via the Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area official account. Same-day ticket purchases can only be made before closing time; tickets cannot be purchased after closing time.

2. Special group ticket purchase. Special groups such as military personnel, disabled people, and students with a bachelor's degree or below cannot purchase tickets through the scenic area's official account and must purchase tickets at the visitor center window on a first-come, first-served basis until sold out.

3. Flexible ticket release at the window. Due to the characteristics of the Hanging Temple's stairs, which can only accommodate one person at a time, the daily reception capacity will be reduced when there are many tourists moving slowly; the daily reception capacity will increase when tourists move quickly. Therefore, the Hanging Temple will flexibly adjust through offline windows and appropriately increase the number of released tickets. The time and quantity of tickets released at the window will be determined based on the daily passenger flow and the tourist queue situation and cannot be announced in advance. We appreciate your understanding.

Notice for Visitors Aged 60 and Above

For entering the Hanging Temple, Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area, and Yong'an Temple, visitors aged 60 and above should use their ID card for ticket entry, based on the date on their ID card; for entering the Hanging Temple, visitors aged 60 and above should use their ID card to purchase a free ticket, and use their ID card for entry, based on the date on their ID card.

Visitor Center Shuttle Bus Schedule

Visitors need to park their vehicles in the visitor center parking lot and take the shuttle bus to enter the Hengshan Mountain and Hanging Temple scenic areas.

The ticket sales and departure time for the shuttle bus from the Visitor Center to the Hanging Temple is 8:00——16:00;

The ticket sales and departure time for the shuttle bus from the Visitor Center to Hengshan Mountain (Yue Men Wan) is 8:00——15:30.
