This exhibition area features select books such as "Complete Collection of Ancient Temple and Monastery Sculptures of Shanxi," "Encountering Shanxi," and "Qinjin Friendship," systematically showcasing Shanxi's profound historical background and ancient architectural art. As the sacred site of Mount Hengshan, the surrounding area boasts numerous nationally protected ancient buildings, including Hanging Temple, Yong'an Temple, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, Yuanjue Temple, and Jueshan Temple. The establishment of this book exhibition area will help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the unique charm of Shanxi, known as the "museum of terrestrial cultural relics."
The Hunyuan County Xinhua Bookstore has also included books such as the comic book versions of "Four Great Classical Novels" in the "Sanjin Cultural Heritage Book Exhibition Area."
On that day, Liu Biao, Deputy Director of the County Committee's Publicity Department; Wang Zhiqiang, Deputy General Manager of Hengshan Mountain Tourism Company; and Meng Weidong, Manager of Hunyuan County Xinhua Bookstore, attended the launch ceremony and unveiled the "Sanjin Cultural Heritage Book Exhibition Area" at the visitor service center. This marks the official launch of a new service environment integrating "reading, rest, and cultural dissemination" at the Hengshan Mountain Visitor Center.
Next, the Hengshan Mountain Visitor Center will cooperate with the Xinhua Bookstore to hold themed reading clubs, lectures on ancient architecture, and other activities, promoting the integration of culture and tourism, allowing visitors to experience the profoundness of Shanxi's culture during their sightseeing. This initiative not only enriches the connotation of tourism services but also opens up new paths for inheriting the culture of Sanjin.
