Data shows that during the "May Day" holiday, the total number of tourists received at major scenic spots in Hunyuan reached 251,700, a 32.96% increase year-on-year. The total ticket revenue reached 5.2921 million yuan, a 33.02% increase year-on-year, and the total revenue from cultural and creative products reached 585,200 yuan, a 114.12% increase year-on-year. Behind the upward trend of the data is the booming tourism and cultural tourism market in Hunyuan during the "May Day" holiday. Major attractions were crowded with people, performing arts activities were held continuously, and consumption potential was continuously released... stimulating sustained improvement in "eating, lodging, travel, shopping, entertainment" and other service consumption.

Hengshan Mountain, Xuankong Temple scenic area continued to attract a large number of tourists. As one of the Five Great Mountains of China, Hengshan Mountain, with its magnificent natural scenery and profound historical and cultural heritage, has attracted tourists from all over the country. Climbing to the main peak, Tianfengling, at an altitude of 2016.1 meters, with rolling mountains surrounding it, the scenery is breathtaking, allowing tourists to deeply appreciate the unique geomorphological characteristics of "walking on Hengshan Mountain". Xuankong Temple, built during the Northern Wei Dynasty, is famous for its "unique, dangerous, and ingenious" architectural style, attracting numerous tourists to check in.

The ancient and elegant architecture and rich historical and cultural relics in Hunyuan Ancient City have attracted tourists from all over the country. Yuanjue Temple and Wenmiao, Henglu Academy and other attractions in the ancient city were bustling with visitors. At dusk in Yuanjue Temple, the classical dance "Reappearing Yuanjue Temple" was performed brilliantly, presenting tourists with an audio-visual feast that perfectly blends architectural aesthetics and dance art through the unique form of classical dance. The "Blessing Yong'an" themed program performed in front of the Daxiongbaodian Hall of Yong'an Temple also attracted many citizens and tourists to stop and watch. The Yuan Dynasty murals in Yong'an Temple are exquisitely crafted, and by expressing them through dance, the ancient cultural heritage has been given new life and vitality. Traditional opera entering the scenic area also added flavor to the festival, bridging the gap between traditional culture and modern audiences.


The intangible cultural heritage exhibition areas set up in Wenmiao and Henglu Academy were also bustling with activity. Vivid intangible cultural heritage cloth pillows, brightly colored and realistically shaped flower buns, and cloth tigers of various shapes and sizes attracted visitors of all ages to stop and watch. The ancient city created immersive intangible cultural heritage experience scenes; using modern technological means to digitally display and disseminate intangible cultural heritage projects, allowing tourists to have a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the connotation of Hunyuan intangible cultural heritage. Various cultural and creative sales points in the ancient city also attracted many tourists. Ms. Li from Beijing excitedly said: "I saw Hunyuan's cultural and creative products online before I came, and I specially came to buy them!" Hunyuan has successfully launched more than 300 cultural and creative products in 20 series, which cleverly integrate the profound historical and cultural heritage of Hengshan Mountain with modern fashion elements, and are very popular with tourists.




During the "May Day" holiday, many citizens and tourists chose rural tourism to experience the beauty of nature. Tanyue Trip, Shenxi Wetland, Donghulu Tou, Jingshi, Erling, Lingyunkou, Longpengyu and other rural tourism scenic spots attracted a large number of tourists with their unique natural scenery and folk customs.
