The County Work Safety Committee held a plenary (expanded) meeting.

5 month 20 On [date], the county’s Work Safety Committee held a plenary (expanded) meeting.

County Party Secretary Zhao Yuqing attended the meeting and addressed the attendees.

Zhao Xiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Deputy County Governor, presided over the meeting.

County leaders Cao Qilong, Lei Yingchun, Hu Peng, Li Qian, Jia Xuehua, Zhao Zhu, Zhang Shujun, Wang Wuming, and Li Yulu attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the heads of the County Emergency Management Bureau, the Transportation Bureau, the Water Resources Bureau, and the Fire and Rescue Bureau each delivered remarks on ensuring workplace safety across the county, road traffic safety, flood‑control preparations, and urban fire safety.

Each county-level leader in charge made arrangements and deployments for work related to workplace safety within their respective areas of responsibility.

Zhao Yuqing emphasized that ensuring workplace safety is of paramount importance. All levels and departments across the county must further elevate their political awareness, remain constantly vigilant about safety, and approach their duties with a sense of responsibility—always “unable to rest easy”—to meticulously plan and firmly assign accountability, thereby resolutely safeguarding the bottom line of safe development. Priority should be given to key areas of prevention and control, with rigorous measures in place for cultural and tourism safety, flood-season safety, road traffic safety, homestay safety, and the safe handling of fireworks and firecrackers, to prevent all types of accidents and fortify the safety defense. Moreover, targeted efforts must be sustained, deepening hazard identification and remediation in critical sectors such as forest and grassland fire prevention, fire safety, transportation, housing and urban–rural development, education, agriculture, and others, so as to effectively protect the lives and property of the people throughout the county and maintain overall social stability.

Zhao Yuqing emphasized the need to firmly enforce accountability at all levels, rigorously implementing the principles of “joint responsibility of the Party and government, dual responsibility for each post, concerted efforts by all parties, and accountability for dereliction of duty,” as well as the “three controls and three musts” requirements. All Party committees and governments at every level across the county must fulfill their territorial management responsibilities; the competent authorities in each sector must assume their regulatory duties; and all types of production and business entities must shoulder their principal responsibilities, ensuring that accountability is assigned to every link, position, and individual. Furthermore, emergency on‑call arrangements and preparedness measures must be strictly enforced: emergency response plans should be refined, adequate emergency supplies stockpiled, and real‑world readiness drills strengthened, so that in the event of a crisis, rapid response, timely deployment, and efficient handling can be guaranteed.

The principal officials of the member units of the County Safety Production Committee, relevant departments, township Party secretaries, and the chief executives of pertinent enterprises attended the meeting.
